About Rest Yourself River Ranch

Rest Yourself River Ranch in Mineral Wells, Texas, is more than a venue—it’s a retreat ranch built on faith, family, and a vision for restoration. Perched high on a ridge with the Brazos River flowing below, this family-owned property invites guests into wide-open skies brushed in pinks and reds at sunset. Towering trees, historic architecture, and gentle fountains create a setting that is both grounding and inspiring. From its Texas heritage roots to its present-day mission, the ranch serves as a place where lives are renewed and community thrives. When people step onto the property, the noise of the outside world quiets—they breathe more deeply, walk more slowly, and reconnect with one another in a space that feels timeless. It’s not just an event or a retreat—it’s a reset of the soul.

Meet the Team
Behind the Ranch

David and Jaye Arsement, along with their family, are the heart of Rest Yourself River Ranch, bringing hospitality and ministry to life through their leadership.

With a background in faith-based service, they built Rest Yourself Family Ministries (RYFM) to provide Christ-centered care for individuals and families. Hospitality is a core value, and it is provided to all.

They also have team members who are dedicated to Texas hospitality at its best, helping you create unforgettable, lasting memories. Their vision is not just to host events, but to provide a deeply personal, soul-refreshing experience through every gathering.
